Camping at Urunao

A bunch of us camped overnight at Urunao (at two different locations). One of the first things I saw, looking over the cliff, was a big ol' monitor lizard. I think it was a sign of good things to come. It was the perfect weather to be out. The storm clouds in the horizon didn't make it to the shore until 3am, so we were able to swim and tan the whole day. There was volleyball and basketball, cooking and jamming, card games and smack-talking, and lots of eating and drinking. During our nighttime swim, Maria saw "something" and when she shined the flashlight there was a coconut crab walking around the beach. It was pretty cool. There was a cool breeze to fall asleep to, although Windward Hills native said, "Dude, I'm freezing. I never knew Guam could get this cold." I thought it was nice. Anyway, we ended up leaving in the early morning to get back for Rob's alumni game. While driving back home I heard a buzzing in the car and I had to pull over and jump out because there was a dragonfly or something in the trunk and I was freaking out! Yet, all Jared had to do was open the trunk and it flew away. Ai adai, I'm so dramatic.
