Semi-tropical depression

It's been like this for the past four days because of a typhoon that was near China, then worked its way down toward the Phillipines, and is now bringing this "system" (rain storm) to my island. I hope this is the only time I'll be wearing a sweater (long-sleeve, really) while I'm on Guam. Thankfully there were two pots of corn soup, estufau, and beef kadu at the rosary tonight to keep us warm from the Yigo breeze.
